Samples taken from the area on July 29th have returned E. Coli levels of 20/100mL, which is well within the State standard of 88 counts/ 100mL of water. Monitoring of the area will continue, with results posted here as they become available. NOTICE OF SALE - TAX DEEDED PROPERTIES: Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with the provisions of RSA 80:80 (II), the Town of Windham, by its Selectmen duly authorized, is accepting bids on the following parcel of land and building acquired by the Town by Tax Deed. FROM THE BUILDING INSPECTOR: In light of the ongoing lack of rain and a number of reported well issues, property owners are urged to monitor their irrigation systems and consider taking water conservation measures. FROM THE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT: To the residents of Bear Hill, Sylvestri, and Hayes Hart roads, please be advised that the Town will begin paving work on your roads as of July 26, 2010. Although each project is different, all should be completed by August 13th, with the majority finished even sooner. I am also looking for other photos from around Town to show off on this new web site, so take a minute to check those laptops, digital cameras, and hard drives. You and your business could be a star.
