Village Center District Sub-Committee

Project Summary:

The Town of Windham received a grant from the Rockingham Planning Commission to provide assistance in formulating zoning recommendations to plan for the future development of the Village District based on the ‘Rural Oasis’ concept plan. The grant money will be used to provide professional planning services from Rockingham Planning Commission (RPC). RPC staff will work with the Windham Community Development Department and a subcommittee established by the Planning Board for this project. Click here to read the details of the grant contract.

The Planning Board is in the process of forming the subcommittee to assist is to aid in the preparation of zoning ordinance amendments that will assist in implementing the “Village Center Recommendations” detailed in Section 5 of the recently completed Wall Street NH 111 and Wall Street Connector Feasibility Study.

The committee will begin meeting in late May and will continue to meet until mid-January at the latest. Meeting times will be determined by the subcommittee members once the group has been formed and will be posted on this website.
