HIGHWAY LABORER

The Town of Windham, NH is seeking a full-time Highway Department laborer. 40 hrs/wk plus 24-hr on call availability required. Salary $34,248 - 42,082 plus excellent benefit package. MAINTENANCE CUSTODIAN

The Town of Windham, NH is seeking a full-time Maintenance Custodian. 40 hrs/wk. Salary $29,536 (14.20/hr) – $36,337 (17.47/hr) plus excellent benefit package. High school graduate or equivalent. Responsible for general cleaning/maintenance of town buildings, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry work, and snow removal. DEPUTY FIRE CHIEF/FIRE PREVENTION

Salary: $58,568.60 - $71,188.12 (DOQ) annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Excellent benefits. Town of Windham, New Hampshire (population 14,500) seeks proven, experienced fire professional with significant and progressive management experience in all phases of municipal fire service with primary emphasis in Fire Prevention, Inspections and Public Education. Windham is a combination full-time/call department. Position responsible for managing the delivery of Fire Suppression, Fire Prevention, Rescue, EMS Services, Hazardous Materials and Disaster Management Services. This position is a management level position with supervisory authority to all paid fire department staff below the rank of Deputy Chief. The position requires residency within a 12-minute commute to the Fire Station.

Minimum Qualifications required: Associates Degree in Fire Science, with course work in fire prevention, and personnel administration; five (5) years full time experience in an organized fire department, three (3) of which were in a supervisory capacity and at least two (2) years in fire prevention; OR any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must have a Valid CDL Drivers license, able to obtain NH Ambulance Attendant License and be Nationally Registered EMT.

ASSISTANT PLANNER/

CODE ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATOR

Windham, a growing community of 14,500 is accepting applications for the position of Planner/Code Enforcement Administrator. Candidate will assist the Planning Director and work in multiple aspects of land use planning and activities including research, analysis, report writing, data management, code enforcement, and public speaking. Also provides technical assistance to the Planning Board, Conservation Commission, Zoning Board, and other land use boards. Also serves as Town’s Code Enforcement Administrator. Salary range: $48,197 – $58,568, plus excellent benefits. Minimum qualifications required: three years experience in town/urban planning, Bachelor’s degree in town/urban Planning or related field, and a demonstrated knowledge of site plan review, land use regulations, environmental/comprehensive planning, code enforcement, and use of computers to provide documents, map graphics, spreadsheets and to advise staff in usage.
