NOTICE OF CLOSING: In recognition of their dedication, the
Town will be inviting its employees to take part in our 4th Annual
“Workforce Appreciation Day” on Thursday May 29, 2008. So that our
employees can attend this event, our Town offices will be closing as
follows: Transfer Station, closing at 10 AM, re-opening at 1 PM,
and; all other offices, closing at 11 AM, re-opening at 1 PM. There

HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT NOTICE:
Please be advised that sweeping of all Town roadways has begun
throughout Windham.
LOST AT GRIFFIN PARK:
Recreation has learned that a digital camera was lost at Griffin
Park on April 13. If you found a camera on or around this date,
please contact the Recreation Coordinator at 965-1208. Thank you.

RECREATION NOTICE: All
mini-sport sessions have been filled. We apologize if you were
unable to get a slot for your child, but encourage you to check back
here for our Summer program offerings, which will be posted in the
next few weeks.
CEMETERY TRUSTEE
NOTICE: The snow has finally gone, and it is time again for our
annual spring clean-up at the Windham Cemeteries. We ask that all
lot owners assist us by removing, no later than May 1, 2008, any
remaining holiday wreaths/decorations from their areas, along with
any other prohibited items not disposed of during our fall cleanup (ie:
wind chimes, glass vases, fencing). Such items remaining after this
date may be subject to disposal by Cemetery staff. Also, please note
that as part of our cleanup any neglected plantings/bushes may be
trimmed and/or removed as necessary by Cemetery staff. As always, we
extend our sincere thanks to all for your cooperation toward keeping
our cemeteries as natural and attractive as possible. Should you
have any questions or concerns, please feel free to
email the Trustees.
Windham Rec's "Women's
fitness Boot Camp" returns in May. This three day a week program
focuses on strength, cardio conditioning, endurance, flexibility and
core conditioning. If you have not participated in a fitness program
in the past several years or you recently gave birth and you need a
"jump start" to get back in shape for bathing suit season...this
class is for you. You will be challenged with the same results
driven drills and exercises as the popular Extreme fitness Boot
Camp. Each day will consist of full body strength training combined
with low to moderate intensity cardio drills designed to firm and
tone all those difficult areas. All equipment is supplied for you,
just bring lots of energy and be ready to burn tons of calories in a
non-intimidating and fun group environment. Classes sponsored
through Windham Recreation and held outdoors at Griffin Park on
Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 8:00 to 9:00 AM. For all
