Beautification Sub-Committees

As part of their 2015 goals, the Board of Selectmen established two Town Beautification Sub-Committees; each charged with exploring the feasibility, methods/means, and cost estimates to beautify a particlar area of Windham.

The first, the Route 111 Beautification Sub-Committee, will address the median areas of the Route 111 By-pass from Route 28 to the Wall Street area. Currently serving on the Committee are:

  • Al Letizio, Jr., Chair
  • Anthony Berni
  • Bill DeLuca
  • Jay Yennaco
  • Jennifer Simmons, Selectman

The second, the Town Center Beautification Sub-Committee, will address the historic Town Hall complex and Town Common areas. Currently serving are:

  • Maureen Spooner, Chair
  • Town Administrator David Sullivan
  • Maintenance Supervisor Dave Poulson
  • Joel Desilets, Selectman
  • Cheryl Haas, Recreation Coordinator
  • Kathleen DiFruscia
  • Frank Farmer
  • Peter Griffin
  • Siri Wilbur

The Board anticipates that these Committees' efforts will result in a future public presentation and recommendation regarding their findings.
