The
Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) meets the second and fourth Tuesday evenings of each month,
with some additional days for field inspections, and deals primarily with
requests for variances from the Town’s zoning regulations.
Meetings,
which are open to the public, generally begin at 7:30 PM, and are held in the
Planning and Development Department conference room, 3 North Lowell Road (former
Fire Station).
Barring
unforeseen complications, these meetings are also televised live on WCTV-20,
Windham's local access channel.
Persons interested in meeting with the
ZBA should contact the Board of Adjustment Secretary at 432-3806. Any

Per
2003 Ballot Vote, the Board of Adjustment will evolve into a elected board commencing
with the 2004 elections. Subsequent to the 2005 election, the Board will be
comprised of five (5) elected members and three (3) alternate members as
appointed by the Board of Adjustment.
