Mr. Gumbel called the meeting to order at 7:25pm.

Review of minutes from February 8, 2001. Mr. Forde moved to accept as written. Seconded by Mr. Borcoche. Passed unanimously.

Mr. Forde reported that he has added web pages for the Historic District Commission to the Town Web Site. He will also post the results of the town elections on the web site.

Mr. Gross and Mr. Borcoche reported on the new high-speed internet access link to the library. Bids have been received and are being reviewed by the Library Trustees. Additional contracting work is being investigated as part of the upgrade. Mr. Gross also reported that the new Assistant Librarian is working to put the collection information on the Library Web Site.

Mr. Schreiner presented a sample of the computer graphic version of the town trails to the committee. He has used the GIS maps from the Planning Department as the basis for the trails. By using a GPS receiver while biking the trails, he was able to plot each trail and overlay them onto the town maps. After discussion with Mr. Schreiner and Mr. Morris, the committee agreed to the following setup for these maps on the Town Web Site:

• All maps and text to be emailed to Mr. Forde. He'll setup web pages and links to the maps
• A notice that the trails cross private property will accompany each map.
• Each map will have a note that directs any questions to the web master. This is the way property owners can make inquiries about trails crossing their property.
• Updates to the maps will be done on a semi-regular basis as Mr. Schreiner updates trails and adds the plotting of additional trails

If any property owner questions the accuracy of a trail going across their property, Mr. Schreiner will work to update the map and make a new submission to the web pages.

Mr. Forde moved to accept these maps and display them on the Town Web Pages. Mr. Gross seconded. Passed unanimously. Mr. Schreiner will make the agreed-upon changes and send updates to Mr. Forde next week.
